/THE CONCEPT

‘Connected curves’

Curve [noun] ‘A line that bends continuously and has no straight parts’
Connected [verb] ‘Bring together or into contact so that a real or notional link is established’

After redesigning the hotel’s branding and being influenced by the shape of the building, I wanted to flow the elements of this design into the interior. The logo takes the line and curves of the buildings shape and incorporates it into a simple design. I’ve called my concept ‘connected curves’.

This concept combines the history and heritage of the building with modern day curves. Curves are consistent throughout the design and the curves will not only bring the space together but also bring people together.

The floor plan is separated into different spaces for dining, socialising, an intimate lounge and a sports bar.
